ALLIANCE Multi-Operator DAS 2 Watt Remote Optic Unit (L2ROU)

ALLIANCE is a multi-operator DAS solution that supports wireless services all from a common head end and delivered over a single fiber.

ALLIANCE DAS supports four types of remote optic units which can be mixed in a single system: low-power 1W LROU and 2W L2ROU, mid-power 5W MROU, and high-power 20W HROU units.

The low-power 2W remote optic unit (L2ROU) can hold up to three multi-band amplifiers (RDUs) for supporting up to six bands simultaneously. Additionally, the unit can support UHF and VHF bands by connecting the AOR add-on remote. The L2ROU delivers +33dBm output power per band at the antenna port for the 700LTE, 800 (Sprint), 850C, 1900P, and AWS bands. For the 2.5TDD band, output power is +32dBm, and for UHF/VHF bands output power is +24dBm.

The L2ROU enclosure incorporates a simplified and compact NEMA 4 design. The operator can rack or wall mount the unit, either indoors or outdoors. The unit features a Dry Contact Relay for accepting input alarms from external units, like battery backup systems, which is becoming a requirement for many deployments.
