The continuous outer conductor and low loss polyethylene foam dielectric of HELIAX cables result in much lower losses than comparably sized braided cables. HELIAX coaxial cables are protected with a rugged black polyethylene jacket which provides abrasion resistance and complete environmental protection. HELIAX coaxial cables are available with special jacketing to meet relevant fire retardance standards.
