AirDefense Infrastructure Management

The AirDefense Infrastructure Management solution offers centralized management and control for the wireless enterprise – a single console for multi-vendor, multi-architecture, multi-generation and multi-version WLAN management. The solution’s, vendor and device agnostic, UI ensures consistency in configuration, compliance with policies, while reducing device and model specific expertise required by network administrators. Instead of managing multiple systems, administrators have a centralized management console to update device configurations and firmware, monitor device status, capture faults, audit and automatically correct device configuration issues, gather network statistics and generate compliance reports.

Allows configuration and control of multi-vendor/heterogeneous WLAN infrastructure environments, enabling simplified WLAN management at a lower TCO.

A single console provides aggregated views of the data on multiple appliances and a single point for configuration changes. Providing a holistic view into the network streamlines monitoring of security events, automates management, and reduces the resolution time of network issues, thereby improving productivity.

The solution supports a variety of back-end management protocols to incorporate multiple vendor platforms and presents a normalized representation of statistics, configuration and faults to the administrator. Automated Discovery

Plug-in architecture abstracts vendor and client specific attributes from the end user device, and allows the system to rapidly add new models without changing the UI or upgrading the system. Reduces staging and provisioning requirements for new deployments, devices additions, or hardware changes to the existing network.

Custom Reporting

Customizable reports can be created using the systems Report Builder tool. Network administrators can customize content, scheduling, formatting and delivery options.
